Reindeer Sink!

I'm in the process of drying a sink for a customer.  The lip has been engraved per the customer wishes with reindeer and pine trees.  The sink is on the kitchen table to help dry it faster.

Katie Cups!

They are handbuilt porcelain with sometimes a twisted handle and then impressed with lines and designs.  I then glaze just the top of the cup and outside lip with a clear glaze.  The lines and designs are glazed with a glossy black.  David

Plates...

I have started an order of plates.  They are thrown and are in the process of drying.  I will keep you posted as they go through the process.  David

New Shapes Bisqued!

I have been trying to keep everything moving along in the studio, even though the tempature outside has been very cold.  At least, the sun came out today!!  I have been able to bisque the new vases and have them waiting to be sanded and waxed.  Stay warm everyone.  David

Working in the Studio

I'm out in the studio working on this very cold and breezy afternoon.  The heat has been on for a few hours to warm up the room and clay.  I'm close to having everything thrown for the first kiln of the new year.  The two pieces above are made out of stoneware and are a new shape for me.  Stay warm!!!  David
