Strictly Functional 2015 Show

Today, I was brave and applied for the Strictly Functional 2015 Show. I submitted six different photos of three pieces of work which have all been chattered with ashes on them. They are:

We lots and lots to look at in the gallery and studio with over 

700 pieces available in multiply glazes and shapes.  

Getting the gallery ready for this weekend!

We moved back on Sunday evening after the Shoreline Arts Trail show with the boxes and cubes. We started yesterday by unpacking, cleaning and setting up the show for the next two weekends. There are over 600 pieces in the gallery plus more that just came out of the kiln. 

We will be open Saturday and Sunday - 10 am - 5 pm. Come join us and enjoy a cookie!!

Connecticut NBC News - Tonight & Tomorrow Morning!

Watch for us!! I was interviewed at Wesleyan Potters by Connecticut NBC news which will air tonight around 5:30 pm and again on Saturday morning around 11:30 am. In addition, they interviewed students and key members regarding why people take pottery classes.

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day!  

I spent a wonderful day at Quinnipiac University showing students, faculty, staff and visitors my wheel and giving them the opportunity to touch the clay. Most people found the experience relaxing and had fun playing with the lip of the piece.
